The Australian & New Zealand Society of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology
2026 Annual Members Conference
Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas, Sunshine Coast
Friday 9 October - Sunday 11 October 2026
Registration for the ANZSPO 2026 Members Conference
Dear Colleagues
It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2026 ANZSPO Members’ Conference in Noosa, October 9-11.
Our annual members’ conference remains one of the most valuable forums in our calendar — a deliberately small, discussion-driven gathering that allows us to explore complex clinical scenarios, controversies and emerging advances in paediatric otolaryngology in a candid and collegial environment.
This year, the conference will follow directly on from the Brisbane Airway Course, which is also open to ANZSPO members and fellows as either attendees or faculty. The sequencing provides a valuable opportunity to extend the academic discussions from the airway course into the broader subspecialty conversations that define our members’ conference.
I am delighted this year’s academic convenors are Dr Emily Perry and Dr Alex Treble, who are curating a thoughtful and contemporary program.
As always, the strength of ANZSPO lies in the room — in the willingness of members to present difficult cases, share complications, challenge assumptions and reflect honestly on practice. I warmly encourage you to reach out to Emily or Alex if you have cases, controversies, research updates, or emerging topics you would like to contribute. This conference is built by members, for members.
The conference will be held at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas, providing an ideal environment for both focused academic discussion and informal collegial connection. Transfers to Noosa can be coordinated through Consec, our longstanding and highly experienced conference organising team, to ensure smooth travel logistics for those attending from interstate or internationally. Our conference dinner will be held at Spirit House, one of the region’s most celebrated dining venues, and coordinated transfers will be arranged for those who require them. We will also continue the tradition of the informal morning walk, followed by breakfast — a valued opportunity to connect with colleagues in a relaxed setting before commencing the day’s academic sessions.
Beyond the scientific sessions, this conference advances our broader mission: strengthening paediatric otolaryngology across Australia and New Zealand, fostering meaningful research collaboration and sustaining excellence in training for the next generation of specialists. Fellows and new members are warmly encouraged to attend. The AGM on Sunday will provide an opportunity to formally nominate new colleagues into ANZSPO, reinforcing the growth and continuity of our community.
I strongly encourage you to prioritise attendance. Your presence, your cases and your perspective are what make this conference exceptional.
I look forward to seeing you in Noosa.
Warm regards
Hannah
